| Forbes-Hewlett Transport was founded in 1985
by George V. Stott. After growing up in the industry
and driving a truck for many years, he decided
to pursue his dream and form his own transport
company. |

| From the early years
of business, Forbes-Hewlett was guided by the
values of safety, exceptional service, reliability,
modern equipment and technology, and customer
satisfaction. With several tractor-trailers,
the company began specializing in moving freight
cross-border between Canada and the United States.
Within a few years, new equipment was added to
the fleet, and a growing list of clients began
to trust in the quality transportation solutions
provided by Forbes-Hewlett. |

| Throughout the 1990's,
the company continued to expand at a steady pace.
New services were provided and owner operators
were hired. The company also kept pace with a
constantly changing, increasingly sophisticated
industry. Satellite tracking equipment was put
on board all trucks allowing for instant communication
and tracking of shipments, and air ride tractor-trailers
were added to the fleet for those sensitive,
high-value goods. In 1995, Forbes-Hewlett moved
to the current terminal located in Brampton,
Ontario. It was renovated with the latest computer
technology and security features to ensure the
utmost in efficiency and reliability. |

| Today, the Forbes-Hewlett
name is synonymous with consistent, dependable
transportation services. The company provides
a variety of both LTL and Truckload services
between Canada and the USA. The fleet includes
over 100 trucks and over 200 trailers. There
are over 125 staff and drivers, many of whom
have been with the company since the early years,
who are dedicated to working with customers to
meet and exceed their unique needs. |
